Our Newest Model: Horrace Kappel!

Horace Kappel, He's not a Sock Monkey, but he's as cute as one! With  Horace's shy nature, you wonder why he hasn't blown up on your news feed! I was able to catch up with Horace in this interview
CEMA:  Okay, so, tell me about your childhood, where did you grow up?
Horace: I was hatched 6 years ago on Christmas day, I was one of twins and we have had a fab childhood so far with parents who take us on all sorts of adventures. We live just over the Welsh border, so it's very pretty here.
CEMA: Oh that sounds nice! What was school like? Did you go to school?
Horace: I went to school once, but I had to stay in my human sisters bag in case I got confiscated (what ever that means). It was a bit dark in the bag so I haven't been again.
CEMA: Oh me too! So what kind of adventures do you have?
Horace: We go to motorbike racing. Mummy sponsors a racer. We go to festivals, we camp a lot and spend quite a lot of time at Granny's house too.
CEMA: That sounds nice! Do you have custom made clothes?
Horace: My Granny knitted me some jumpers at first. Then I made best friends with Dooby Griffin who has the cleverest Mama in the world and she makes me lots of matching hat and jumper out fits.
CEMA: That sounds awesome! Have you ever modeled before?
Horace: She is so clever and she knows just what I like. I like to be snugly and wear bright colors - it makes people who see me happy gosh no! I never really thought I was modelling material. I am far to shy and a little plump!
CEMA: Well thank you for this interview

Interview with Poppy TheSockMonkey!

I caught up with Poppy on Facebook to chat with her about her life and career here's what she had to say.
CEMA: Hello Poppy how are you?

Poppy: Very well :)

CEMA: Good! so should we begin?.

Poppy: Yes x

CEMA: Okay so, where did you grow up, what was it like?

Poppy: I grew up at Cute Little Monkeys which is a business. It was very nice but the other monkeys teased me.

CEMA: Hmm why?

Poppy: Because the socks I was made from were cheap.

CEMA: Oh that's so sad! So what was school like? How did you cope with being made fun of?

Poppy: I loved school. They used to push me into mud and then I'd have to go in the dreaded washing machine, I coped by sending letters to my pen pal x

CEMA: Tell me more about your pen pal

Poppy: Well his name was Monkey and he came free from a box of PG tips so he knew what it was like to be cheap.

CEMA: I see.. What did you and Monkey talk about?

Poppy: We told each other about our week and what happened and Monkey told me that his Mommy was getting older and so she's be on Facebook soon and she might be able to buy me.

CEMA: Tell me about the big day you were bought

Poppy: Well first Zelah Miron the monkey maker put me in a bag and stuck stuff all over the back then I was put in the post but if you really want to know how I was bought word4word then go to Cute Little Monkeys and check out the photo of me.

CEMA: Hmm... Okay well have u been into modeling before?

Poppy: Well my photo was modeled at Cute Little Monkeys but no not really.

CEMA: What do you think of your fame? Overwhelming? Exciting?

Poppy: Very exciting and it's wonderful to hear such wonderful comments about my looks since I thought I was ugly 'cos of the bullying.

CEMA: What are your plans in the future?

Poppy: To inspire Sock Monkeys with low self esteem all over the world !

CEMA: Great! Great!
